(Okay, I have been gone for a good 5 months, with no explanation. But I'm still going to finish up this storyline for you guys)

Slither's diary

Ducking, weaving, and general dodging was the only things I could really do. I could feel that with the hypnotism, his fighting was also enhanced, easily giving him the skills and strength of a pokemon twice my level. Fighting back was completely out of the question. But I could see a flicker of something. The hypnotism wearing off, perhaps?

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that Spiritomb was weakening, probably from the poison I pumped into him. As he weakened, I could also tell that Red Baron was getting more control, though still fighting better than I. Knowing I had to end this quickly, before I was sliced, I rammed into him with my tail and went straight for Spiritomb, biting into his ghostly body with all my might.

The body shuddered, then he slowly got sucked back into the stone he resided in. After surveying the mess we made of the place, I knew we were both in trouble. Then I looked over at Red Baron, who was shaking his head, as if he was just waking up.

"I should have known that egg was bad news. I mean, I put the thing on a pillow, just because it seemed to please it," he said. "I just hope it won't come back and cause more trouble."

"He will. Enemies like this tend to come back," I answered, before noticing one of the other eggs was hatching. "Hey, look."

As the two of us watched, the egg cracked more and more, before a Pineco popped out. As we looked at each other, we both had the same thought, if this marked a new beginning for us too. After a minute, we both laughed at the thought.

"Don't worry, I'll be back to fight you someday," I told him, giving him a wave with my tail blade.

"I'll be looking forward to it. Just make sure you practice first," he said with a laugh.
